Alles Isy

It’s All Isy
adapted for the stage by Alice Quadflieg
It could be a perfect summer for Jonas, Isy, Martin, Lenny and Nora. The sun is shining, and everyone’s in a good mood. Lenny can be a bit weird at times, but he always livens things up. Nora brings the dope from her parents’ pharmacy, and Jonas flirts with Isy – who is really sexy. It could also be the perfect summer party – good music, dancing close together. But then Isy takes a few pills more than she should, and Lenny has to show everyone yet again just how cool he is. He rapes the helpless Isy, and challenges Martin and Jonas to do the same. Jonas, who is basically a nice person and is genuinely attracted to Isy, misses the vital moment when he could say no. It’s not that he isn’t fully aware of what is happening to him, but everything has now got out of control – the pressure, his friends, and Isy herself, who gave him the brush-off just a few minutes before. This marks the end of the perfect summer. The boys try to cover up what they have done, and become suspicious and even hostile towards one another. Nora witnessed it all, but she didn’t make any attempt to stop it, and now she tries to use what she knows for emotional blackmail. As for Isy, she remembers nothing – at least her head doesn’t, but her body does.
Jonas has to live with his guilt, even though he is the only one eventually to find the courage to confess everything to Isy.
